APRIL 20, 2005:   ALL APPEARANCES ARE THAT THE CHUGACH ELECTRIC BOARD INTENDS TO APPROVE ANOTHER PREMATURE IBEW UNION LABOR CONTRACT EXTENSION OVER A YEAR IN ADVANCE OF THE CURRENT CONTRACT EXPIRATION.  A REPEAT OF THE OUTRAGE THREE YEARS AGO WITH SOME NEW TWISTS.

APRIL 17, 2002:   CHUGACH ELECTRIC BOARD APPROVES PREMATURE IBEW UNION LABOR CONTRACT EXTENSION.

IBEW UNION LOOTING OF CHUGACH ELECTRIC ASSOCIATION TO CONTINUE UNTIL AT LEAST 6/2006

CHUGACH BOARD ENDORSES GIVEAWAY TO IBEW 4 to 3. 

IBEW UNION GIVEAWAY VOTE (4/17/02):  

YES:   David Cottrell, Pat Jasper, Pat Kennedy, Red Boucher   
NO:     Bruce Davison (board president), Chris Birch, Jeff Lipscomb   

IBEW Contract extension was approved at 4/18/02 board meeting.   $MILLIONS IN ELECTRIC RATE INCREASES FOR THE COMMUNITY COMING -- $HUNDREDS FOR YOU!!  PREPARE TO PAY - PAY - PAY >>> FAR INTO THE FUTURE.  Chugach management didn't want to negotiate with the IBEW Union for a fair deal for the consumer; they actively worked with the IBEW to continue the gravy train from captive Chugach customers rates.  Here's how they did it and how it will cost consumers:
